DSI Issues Progress Report for First Quarter of 2016
TALLAHASSEE, FL - DSI reported continued activity in the recovery, training, and preparedness arenas in the first quarter of 2016. In addition to DSI’s ongoing staff augmentation for FDEM Recovery, DSI reported that training and planning staff was very productive in the quarter. Specifically, DSI reported the following activities:
Holmes County Emergency Management – DSI tailored its Disaster Response and Recovery for EOC Staff for Holmes County and delivered it over the course of three days in late February.
DSI provided NIMS ICS 300 Training for Sumter County employees on March 3rd
DSI completed a CEMP update and Standard Operating Guides for EOC Support Functions for Jackson County Emergency Management
DSI was also keen on discussing delivery of a planning session on Improving Healthcare for Elders during Disasters that was delivered for the University of Texas on March 3, 2016.
