Florida Department of Transportation Selects DSI as their Sole Recovery Contractor

TALLAHASSEE, FL -   After a comprehensive and detailed procurement process, the Florida Department of Transportation announced today that it was executing a professional services contract with the DSI Group for support to the agency for Federal funding (FEMA and FHWA) that will be pursued in the aftermath of Presidentially-declared disasters impacting this large and complex agency.  The contract also envisions proactive work in assisting in the assessment of current operational and financial practices as well as FDOT staff training. In announcing this significant win for the DSI team, CEO Joe Myers said, “DSI is excited about this excellent opportunity to provide these critical services to FDOT.  This large agency is a significant player in disaster recovery in our State and we look forward to working with Secretary Boxold and his staff to make their program a model for the nation in the area of transportation.”
