Bradley Yates

Recovery Specialist



Bradley has been a member of DSI since 2009 and currently serves as a closeout specialist on the State of Florida FEMA Public Assistance Staff Augmentation team.  In this role, he collects, reviews and analyzes required documentation from various sub-grantees to conduct interim inspections, final inspections, and closeouts of recovery projects.  In this area, he focusing on customer service and responsiveness to the needs of our clients and has excellent relationships with all assigned sub-grantees.  He has worked on a total of eight declared disasters, including four events which have been declared in Florida since 2011.  He has received certification in all FEMA areas of instruction related to Disaster Recovery.  Bradley is also a Florida certified Structural Firefighter, Hazardous Material Technician, and Emergency Medical Technician.  Bradley has used his Fire/EMS skills in various trainings, workshops and exercises around the State of Florida--serving as program evaluator and/or controller in these HSEEP compliant offerings.  Bradley is also a certified Wind Mitigation Inspector (University of Florida), having worked in the My Safe Florida Home Mitigation Program and was a quality control inspector for the statewide Florida Weatherization Program.
