Adam has worked in the emergency management field for over 10 years. He has a Master Degree in Homeland Security and is level III certified within the Homeland Security program. He also holds 11 relevant FEMA certifications. His experience in emergency management started while on active duty in the U.S. Navy, serving 7 years in many aspects of emergency management and procedures. The last 3 years he has gained a multitude of knowledge as a recovery specialist and has successfully managed a team dedicated to recovery. He has also served as a PA Program Trainer to others who have joined the team. During the last 3 years Adam has managed over $120 million in large FEMA PA projects and has represented Grantees to his full capabilities in order to ensure full, eligible reimbursement. Adam has worked closely with the City of Pensacola and Clay County on many (Category C) projects and assisted the applicants with proper submission of back up documentation to ensure a smooth reimbursement process. He has made sure to establish a professional working relationship with the state and all assigned applicants around the state in order to offer assistance now and for the future in any case of emergency management.
